The letters page of the August Christianity magazine includes a brave and candid letter from a person who admits to have being arrested and cautioned for viewing indecent images of children last year (see page 6).

He recommends anyone who finds themselves drawn to child porn contacts the Lucy Faithfull Foundation and writes:

‘I attended one of their courses, and my impression is that many men who find themselves accessing illegal content have done so unintentionally at first – they start with adult porn, but the more porn they view the more extreme the content can become as there is always a desire for more, new and different…’

Kudos to this guy (name and address understandably withheld) for his honesty in giving an important wake-up call.
